Gmail in the classroom

Using Gmail in the classroom can be a great tool for students, teachers, and parents to stay connected.
All of the schools I have worked in have provided a school assigned email to students. Most of these have been Gmail accounts. This is a great place for students to start as they have a email that also connects them to the use of Google Slides and Google Docs which are great tools for students to use in their school work. Due to the fact that these applications can be shared with others who can also be given editing privileges, this also allows for collaborative work to be done.
