So many of the students in my high school classroom are on their devices frequently. I find using gmail in the classroom to communicate with students helps them see the benefit of using gmail in a professional environment. I also think by using gmail in the classroom, I am modelling how gmail can be used as a tool for collaboration, not just communication.
