I work with ELL students, and it is a definite plus to communicate with students and parents with Gmail and be able to translate the text. There have been many times when a student will bring me homework, an assignment or a note for an explanation. Now I will email the information to the student and/or parents and they will be able to read the translated text for a better understanding.
