I will use the labels to sort and organize emails that I receive from teachers about assignments, tests or meetings. This way I can always refer back to it through out the week/month and maybe even year. This feature will also allow me to keep track of emails between parents and myself. If I have a student's parents that I contact often, I will be able to keep a folder of all emails between them and myself. If any questions arise in the future, I will be able to refer back to them as well.
The chat feature will be a great way for me to contact the classroom teacher quickly and she can respond to my question. I teach special education, so I need to be able to send quick messages to the classroom teacher without disturbing her teaching.
