Gmail in the classroom

I start my year off by creating a group in my gmail account for all of the parents in my room. I use this to send weekly emails as well as important information about events, special days, field trips, etc. I also print off my newsletter to send home to families in case they miss the email. I started sending home the spelling list via email because of misplaced lists or lists that were accidentally thrown away. I love that I can get information out to all of my families instantly through gmail!
