This is a great tool for communication with students and with the parents. I use this to communicate to students in Google docs any notes that have been taken and is fantastic for when a student is absent so as to keep them informed and caught up with the rest of the class. I remind students of assignments and share with the parents any friendly reminders as well as homework. This is used in the classroom a lot for the students to email assignments or projects instead of printing them out and the teachers grades them using this method.
