Gmail in the classroom.

I use Gmail daily to communicate with teachers, students and parents. Teachers and I will email back and forth about assignments and concerns that we have with students. I use Gmail to communicate with my students daily because I don't always see them. I email them assignment, projects, quizzes and tests due dates. I also send  them information about resources that are available to them. I've used it to send them classroom lecture notes/power points from classroom teachers .I use the  archive to keep track of emails that I send students so that there is a paper trail if they ever become upset and say they didn't know something I have proof that yes we've talked about this. I use labels to separate teacher, students and parents emails.
