I can see using Gmail in the classroom as way to remind students about upcoming due dates, missing assignments, and as a way to get their homework to them when they are absent. The labs feature is very interesting to me and I also enjoyed making labels. This would be a great thing to teach students to help them manage their inbox as they get older and start receiving more information or to create labels to help categorize classes/homework.
