Gmail in the classroom

 I would utilize Gmail in the classroom by setting up weekly reminders and a calendars to be sent to my parents to notify them of snack roster, which specials we had that week so they could send their child with tennis shoes on PE days, as well as links to websites or additional resources that support the current themes we are studying.

I will be utilizing the labels feature within the email features to help label and quickly locate information pertaining to each student, especially for those on IEPs or that may have other concerns that may need addressed and documented.

I would add the calendar feature within my emails to easily view and schedule appointments, meetings, tasks, special events such as picture day and assemblies.
