Gmail in the school.

I can certainly see how gmail makes communicating with parents easier, however, as a substitute, I rarely need to communicate with parents.  I use gmail for communicating with the teacher that I am subbing for when there is an issue in the classroom, or I need clarification of instructions that were left.  It can be very helpful and the clarifications are in writing so that there is no question later on about what was said.
