I send out a weekly letter to my parents and band students. Using a group will make it easy to send. The task feature will be good way to give myself reminders of things I should include in the letter as well as a good way to use Google Calendar to keep my students updated on concerts coming up.
Emails from my parents will get filtered into a parent label, to keep all of that together and easy to find.
As I am a private teacher giving lessons in a Christian school, I'll be looking for ways to set up a vehicle for parents to check their balances for their lesson accounts.
