I have had a personal Gmail account for years but never used many of the features mentioned in the tutorials I viewed. As for using Gmail in the classroom, the canned response tool would be a great way to remind students when an assignment is due or as a reminder for parents. Labels will help me organize the massive amount of email received. The labs and calendar feature is something I plan to use and show others as well.
