Gmail

As a coach of multiple sports, Gmail is great for communicating with athletes and parents.  Being able to create groups for each sport makes it quicker and easier to send out team emails.  I like to use labels and filters to manage the emails for each sport and keep them separate.  I also like the fact that I do not have to be in front of a computer.  I am able to access gmail on my phone or tablet where ever I am at.
