Gmail

I believe that Gmail will be a versatile mode of communication.  A signature can be added to effectively communicate with colleagues, students, and parents.  The ability to make groups using contacts will allow a teacher to effectively e-mail students in the same class minimizing time.  This feature can also be used to e-mail groups of colleagues when setting up meeting times and communicating work information.
