I am a Kindergarten teacher so I do not use Gmail with my students but I do use it as a tool to communicate with my student's parents. I created a 17-18 Kindergarten Parent group in my school Gmail account so that I can very easily add all of my student's parents to an email. This has been a huge time saver this year as I can simply click on Bcc and choose my 17-18 Kindergarten group when I need to send an email that everyone would benefit from reading.
After reading and listening to the Gmail section of this course I added a signature to my Gmail, send an email to a family using the translator option, enabled the "Undo sent email" lab and set my time to 30 seconds, changed the theme of my account, and enabled google calendar in the lab section of setting to be able to see my calendar easier in my email.
