Gmail with adult education facilitators

I have had my facilitators create gmail addresses so that we can all access google drive, google docs, google forms, google slides and also use google hangout.
I work with facilitators that all have different operating systems that are not compatible. Google mail and other apps have allowed us to work collaboratively and much more efficiently.
