I have been using gmail for quite a while as many of us have. This course is doing a great job of informing many of us on our knowledge and what we can be updated on. I have used gmail this fall with my students that will be taking a class online and communicating effectively. I have also attached a google sheets document that can be updated for me daily as an assignmentThere are many applications for using Gmail in the classroom.
I look forward to teaching students how to use the task feature on Google Calendar. They can add homework deadlines as well as dedicated time to study or work on assignments. Coupled with the calendar feature is Google Reminder. This feature will help students stay on track with their school assignments and other activities.
Also, as a coach I am going to create a separate calendar with our schedule, practices and special events during the season or even events that may happen outside of the season.
