I have been using many of the ideas discussed in this section, but I was able to learn some new things. I had originally been using folders to organize emails. I like the idea of using the labeling system to organize those emails that I used to struggle to know what folder was best. I can now have them organized under multiple labels that apply. It will make finding and recalling emails much easier moving forward.
In terms of using this information for my classroom, most of the information I can pass on to my students. In my class, the students are introduced to their email addresses. Some of the information shared in the videos will be useful to pass on to my students. Most of them have very little experience with email before coming to my class, so these basic ideas are just what they need.
