Google 101- Hangouts

At Central DeWitt, we use hangouts on a number of different levels.  I will often contact my assistant principal or secretary (especially if I want to do so in a quick, quiet manner) when I am in a classroom or a meeting.  Google hangouts is easy to use, and we can easily search for anyone in our district's email system.  I have also found an app for hangouts that has been very handy for my Iphone.  I must add, there have been times our "social committee" has used a google hangout to send out a "meeting" notice at the last minute.  Also, since we have no building phones in classrooms, this gives a way to contact each other quickly and quietly.
