I intend use Gmail to communicate with students, parents, administrators, and members of my PLC. I can create filters for the shared lesson plans my PLC uses for the different levels of Spanish that I teach (1 folder each for Spanish1, Spanish 2, and Spanish 3). I can add my students’ email addresses into different groups, by level and/or class period. I will also create different labels to sort my emails such as “Parental Contact” as the main level with a student’s name as a sublevel, should multiple emails about a student occur. I could also use Gmail to remind students (and parents) of assignment due dates, upcoming tests, and quizzes.
