As an educator, I am using Gmail all day long, but I have had issues finding the emails I need quickly. I tend to hang on to emails for a while. I found using Labels to be especially helpful. I can use it to sort important emails by topics instead of simply replying on flagging an email as important (then trying to sort through all the flagged emails for the one I need). Labs were disabled on my school account. I was also able to put together a more helpful/professional -looking signature on my email.
