Even though I already use Gmail, I know I don't utilize the numerous features to their full potential.
1. Within Gmail I plan to set up canned responses for when I am sending out overdue notices and end of the year reminders. This will be much more efficient than the cut and paste feature I use currently.
2. I have set up a group with just classroom teachers for certain communications that don't need to clutter the entire staff's inbox.
3. Now that I understand what the purpose of archive is, I think it will be useful in organizing my inbox.
4. Google Hangout could be especially useful going forward with the uncertainty of on-site learning. One application for the library would be to set up book clubs through google hangouts.
