Google Apps Applied to the classroom

With all of the applications associated with Google, it would be very easy to try to incorporate all of them.  That said: Google Hangout could be utilized by teachers who need to deciminate critical information to parents, who may not be able to attend their Parent/Teacher conference.  Google Documents could incorporated and used as a demonstration for schools wishing to achieve a 'paperless' environment.  Important assignments, announcements or (various pieces of) pedagogical information could be delivered this way.  Departments could also use Google Hangout for a departmental work-session, if they were so inclined to meet outside of the school day.
