As a Science teacher I love to follow science groups and organizations. If that interests you check out NSTA on Google + along with NASA. Always good information and interesting tidbits to share with your class or use as a provocation or connection to real life.
I also like Science Sparks for relevant information from the science world. I use it to get kids excited about our topic or as an extension when using it in a blended classroom.
