The school district I work in does not use Gmail for email purposes and communication, therefore, I am unable to use it for work/teaching purposes. I do have a gmail for personal use and I found this module helpful in learning new information. Some of the information learned is just "nice to know", such as signature and themes. However, a lot of the new information will be helpful with organizing information, such as labels and filters. I definitely like the benefits of labels versus folders. When, or if, the district I work for ever changes to gmail, I feel confident that I will be able to transition easier to the change after taking this module.
