I recently have attended conferences in which I have met several other teacher librarians from my region and throughout the the state. I could see using Gmail to communicate with other teacher librarians from Iowa on a regular basis either via the basic e-mail platform or though a Google hangout. The Google hangout option is nice because it would allow us to communication more as if we were face to face.
