I have used Gmail through my school for about 4 years but didn't realize how much it actually does. I've already spent time creating a group for next years parents and students as well as organizing my email using labels. I loved learning how to turn off the conversation feature. I'm excited to help my students learn how to organize their Gmail better and utilize google tasks to help them organize their week and identify the "big rocks" that need to get accomplished. I also plan to show my students how to quickly access google calendar through their Gmail. My school is a Leader in Me school so I'm excited to learn how to use google to help support this initiative and help my students become more time efficient.
