Google: Gmail

As a curriculum director, I do not have a classroom, but I do lead and collaborate with several Professional Learning Communities and Professional Development groups. By creating mailing groups, I can communicate with everyone in each learning community through emails easier than listing every person within the group each time and hoping i did not forget someone. In addition I can set up frequently used canned responses when responding to these group members. One feature that I learned about that I believe would be valuable to start with these groups is the FAQ feature explained within this learning. I will share the translation feature with my EL teacher group. This is a valuable tool for them to know how to use. I did notice, though one of our most prevalent Burmese dialect is not an option. Through using Gmail special features, collaboration with other administrators and teachers will be easier and more productive.
