I often use Gmail in my classroom to connect with parents. I also assign my students different work using gmail and the Google Classroom. I send them videos and articles to read that go along with our curriculum for the unit. The students use gmail to send emails and discussions to each other about different topics we are discussing and also to talk about their book club books in their reading groups.
