Google Docs is a great feature. You can share schedules, documents, track editing and manage curriculum.
It could even be used by students collaboratively on project. You can track versions and understand who made each changes. I also think that it would make a great family sharing tool for schedules, significant dates and other items. You could even track grocery list collaboratively within your family.
