Google Slides can provide an active strategy for students to engage in collaborative learning with creating presentations or commenting on a presentation created by their teacher. The teacher can provide the students with images or statements and the students can then engage in conversations through Google, add comments to the slide if granted editing privileges, suggestions, and this can be done in groups or individually.
Students can use Google Slides the same as powerpoint, but it does give them more creativity to work together on a project and insert videos as needed. It would be great to pilot a class to assess how well this works with a group of students and I am certain it would be excellent.
