Google apps/tasks/groups/and all

I have communicated across language lines for years and rarely saw the translated versions.  Wondered why it was not constant.  Now I know it is and will use it daily.  I also had not worked with groups, tasks and calendar.  I am wondering as I sit here why?  I will hone my skills on using these productivity tools and it will greatly increase my efficiency.  I cannot think of a new use as the training shows most all and the forum puts the rubber on the road.
