Google in the Classroom

I would like to use Google in the classroom as a communication tool with both parents and students to help students stay  organized. This could be utilized to assist students with time management for their assignments and projects and could help parents stay on top of their children's classwork. I also believe this would help teachers and students communicate due to the lack of time in the school day. Students could email teachers when they do have a free minute and vice versa.
