Gmail for use in the classroom is new to me which is why I took this class. As a writing teacher, I have found that asking my students to submit their assignments by email to much easier to manage than a giant stack of papers. I comment on their work, they see it and sometimes even respond. So far this has worked out but I am hoping to learn other ways to communicate with my classes including setting up group work.
