Google in the classroom

I have been using Google to share with info with individual high school classes and parents of students in the classes.  I send pictures of test keys, reminders of tests, extra review assignments, parent teacher conference reminders, etc...  Parents love it and give me many positive comments.  I also feel parents are more likely to contact me when I have emailed them to introduce myself and maintained contact throughout the course.  I also have students submit digital projects in my stats classes through google.  I would like to explore using Google chat in the classroom and video chat with people in the business world, or former students who might have insights for my current students.
