I have students use google slides in the classroom for research presentations in photography class on painting with light artist research. For all of my art classes I use it as a final "test" portfolio. The have to have all of their research, information from lectures, photos of sketches, photos of production on projects, completed projects. I like how it is easy for the students to take photos with their cell phone, computer cameras, or other cameras and upload them into the format. The also have some room to be creative and it is easy for me to give them feedback throughout the course. They present portions of it when they complete a project to the class for a learning tool. I use it to present information and images to my students on unit lessons. I want to start video taping my lesson demonstrations and include them in a Google slides presentation for students who are absent or need to review the lesson.
