I also want to explore more the options my students have for using Google+ at the 5th and 6th grade level. Our district has enabled various components of Google for Education and there are some components that may not be available to the elementary students. Google mail is an example of this as we only have internal mail capabilities at the 6th grade level for the first time. Once students are enrolled at the junior high, their e-mail is then opened up for sending and receiving outside the district. It's possible that Google+ and Hangouts is also not enabled for my students. I definitely need to check on this.
