My situation is a little different because I keep my subbing license and I homeschool. I haven't used Google very much yet, but am excited to learn more about how teachers are using it to organize and have better communication with parents and students. I could use gmail to communicate with my older kids during cross-country, basketball, track and other activities during the year to remind them of upcoming tests and other assignments coming due.
