Helping Students Achieve Personal and Financial Goals

Everyone needs basic financial planning.  Particularly in light of the high student debt balances after 4 years of college. Possible topics:

1,   Establish the need for financial plannikng
2.   Establish a budget
3.   Insurance
4.   Budgeting
5.   Cash Management
6.   Investments  

These are great topics!  It would be wonderful if an instructor could use fake money or have a financial institution literally visit the classroom to help students practice.  

It probably isn't allowed anymore, but when I was in 2nd grade in California, we actually brought money to school once a week and the bank opened a station there where we deposited money, recorded it and established our first savings accounts.  We had budgets for allocating allowance, too.  To replicate that would really bring finances to life.

What I don't know, link yet, is how this is set and how the date ties to the display. Presumably, the date is tied to the local (main) handset, and the red hand/24-hour display is linked and set via the crown, likely counter to the date advance action. I hope to have one link of these Qs on loan soon enough, so expect link a hands-on with more details and confirmation (or correction) of the above functionality.
