How Financial Literacy is Important to our Youth

I believe that we need to constantly be looking for ways to imbed cross curricular concepts in all courses. I thought this way when I was a science teacher and still do while I teach Sumer Dr. Education.  I Find incorporating financial literacy to be easy in Dr. Education.  The cost of purchasing, maintaining, insuring, and operating a car is one of the larger expenditures a person is going to incur during their lifetime. It is also a motivator for many students while they are in high school.  It is vital that students understand the value of making, budgeting, and saving money. It seems that our society has failed our youth in understanding how to use money rather than they being controlled by money.    

The movie follows four brothers who each follow in the footsteps of their father by entering the world of professional wrestling in the 1980s – a formative time for the sport just as link the WWF was coming into its own. This is a family besieged by loss from the jump as we learn from the eldest living brother, Kevin Von Erich (played by Efron) that he had an older brother who passed away as link a child – leaving him as the de-facto oldest in the family. He is also link the first of his brothers to go pro.
