I'm currently preparing for my
RICS Assessment APC and wanted to start a discussion about the most effective preparation strategies. There are many aspects to manage, including competency requirements, case study preparation, ethics, and the final interview, which can make the process quite challenging.
For those who have successfully completed the assessment, what preparation methods helped you the most? Did you find mock interviews, competency mapping, or structured revision plans particularly useful? I'm also interested in learning about common mistakes candidates should avoid during the submission and interview stages.
Any advice, resources, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated. Hopefully, this discussion can help current and future candidates approach their RICS Assessment with greater confidence and improve their chances of achieving
RICS Membership.
