In appropriate use of digital media

Digital media is important for kids to be prepared for the advanced world of technology.  However, I think that the digital media world is a very scary place to explore. Predators take advantage of children's naivety.  Much like the real world, kids are trusting and believe they are safe in certain places.  I think it is our job as adults to teach them digital media skills when they are at an age capable of handling adult situations.
