My son loves YouTube shows. Occasionally, he will be scrolling along looking for his favorite shows and will run across content that I consider inappropriate. Sometimes, the language used can be vulgar. He knows to turn it off and select a different show. However, the damage is already done.
I felt guilty of not knowing how to keep my son shielded from the unacceptable language and/or inappropriate images. There needs to be an easy, obvious manner to filter the available content to prevent youth from encountering it while looking for appropriate content.
