Inappropriate Use Digital Media

I sit in on and provide feedback on our interview process at school.  We were looking at hiring a man, his interview went very well, his resume was what we were looking for, and his transcripts were in order.  I am the young one on staff and was asked to look into his social media.  Our school board members and administration were shocked when I showed them what I found...needless to say, he did not get the job.  It made me very wary of posting anything on social media-I do not have facebook for this reason-most people my age don't use facebook anyway.  And anything I post on my private Insta is purely for the purpose of sharing pictures of my daughter with her family members that do not live in town.
