The most common inappropriate use of digital media I see is people 'trolling' on message boards and social media. Posting things that really have no value, the post is meant to just hit a nerve and to get others to respond in negative and hurtful ways. This is not a beneficial way of communicating and makes me a little sad everytime I see it. We should all double-check our posts to make sure we are adding something to the conversation and not just baiting someone to see how mad we can make them.
