As teachers I think we all hear about more than we wish we did. I try to dispense mature, common sense advice - but I do have to wonder how often that advice is followed.
Personally I haven't had a whole lot of inappropriate use come my way. I take steps to limit anything I say that may be potentially considered offensive (If you can't say something good, don't say anything at all). I have also unfriended anyone, including extended family, for their disrespectful attitudes or use of foul language.
