A few years ago, my school was going through a very contentious merger with a neighboring school district. The stance of our teachers was that our administration had a good plan in place to do a whole grade sharing agreement with another school district. This was not popular with some of the people in our school district. One of those people posted some very derogatory comments about us teachers on Facebook. It was very hurtful (to say the least). While this person's postings were out of our control, I should have blocked this person sooner at the first sign of trouble. That way, I didn't view his comments or others that supported him. I would have had less stress.
