Inappropriate Use Digital Media

One incident of inappropriate use of digital media that I am aware of was a girl posting on Instagram a picture of herself using a Juul.  The result was another student turning her in to her coach where it was determined that she broke the good conduct rule and she was removed from the team.  Another incident was a girl sending a picture of herself in the nude to her "friend" which got shared, and shared again, and shared again until it was turned in.  The phones were confiscated and the police were involved. The students who shared the picture had to sit out 3 weeks of sporting activities. I am not sure of the police charges. These students need to learn about digital citizenship, confidentiality, and responsibility.
