Often, students receive what is threatening language and make bullying complaints about it. Unfortunately, the language in the social media communication is conditional and doesn't cross the line of what would be considered a threat. It also doesn't pass the bullying test so the student is left hurt and frustrated. This highlights the importance of improving digital literacy for students to understand what is not appropriate and how their words can hurt others.
