When I was in college I went a fan forum in the heat of what I thought at the time was a world-ending, crushing defeat at the hands of our main in-state rival. During my diatribe I made inappropriate comments about the opposing players, coaches, fans, and referees. I really let everyone have it! With the advantage of time I came to realize that the comments I posted on that site are permanent, my feelings about such trivial matters are not. It was a great learning moment for me to pass down to my own kids.
